Rock Ignition – I can’t Resist cd review Rock Ignition is a German Hard Rock Band founded in Krefeld Germany in 2006 by front woman Heather Shockley and Juergen Steinmetz (bass). Both are responsible for writing and composing all the songs you can find on their debut-cd which have 5 songs.

Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69) mixed the album. Dennis Ward worked also for Silent Force, Angra and Axxis. Armin Zedler is responsible for the photos and everything is designed by Marisa Jacobi.

The cd started with the title of the cd ‘I can’t resist’ and is a good opener with heavy guitars riffs and drums. Followed by up-tempo songs ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘Caught in the past’. Song number 4 is a ballad ‘Too Tough to Take’. This is my fave song on the album with acoustic guitars and catchy lyrics. Last song ‘Your Truth’ is a mid-tempo song. Heather has a good voice, and is nice to listen too!

Conclusion: Good album with a 80’s sound. It’s time for this great band to rock on every stage.
