Emir Hot: Sevdah Metal

Bosnian guitarist Emir Hot. I didn't heard of him before, but with his debut CD Sevdah Metal (released march 21st 2008) he will conquer the metal world, and how!

With his amazing fast guitar riffs and working with great musicians like Mike Terrana (drums) and John West (vocals) mixed with traditional instruments and influences you get a very refreshing/catchy and different album I never heard before.

Track 5: Sevdah Metal Rhapsody is a song start with traditional instruments.
It's a 11.51 minutes track. After about 7.11 minutes Mike Terrana starts with a great drum solo!

In my eyes it's like a mini metal-opera with so many different melodies in it! Great!!
Some songs has something dramatic and sober and said too. Just like the cd booklet. I am deeply impressed!

Conclusion: Emir Hot delivered a fantastic album that puts Sevdah Metal on the map!

He send a clear message to other metal bands out there that Emir Hot is here to stay and ready to Kick some Ass!!
