Stormzone: Caught in the Act
Stormzone is a new Rock band that has released their debut album “Caught In The Act”.
The band originates from Ireland, and with the talents of “Davy Bates – Drums” “Keith Harris – Guitars” “Steve Doherty – Guitars” “Graham McNulty – Bass” and Former frontman of bands like “ Den of Thieves – Sweet Savage” and “Emerald” John “Harv” Harbinson, they are a force to be reckoned with.
The band was inspired by the music of “Deep Purple” “Whitesnake” “Iron Maiden” and “Rainbow” John Harbinson uses his vocal skills in the ballads and rockers to give the songs that Classic Rock Vibe.
Keith Harris draws attention throughout the record with his excellent guitar compositions and is successful in emoting the feeling of a class A rock band.
The producer of the album is non other than Mudd Wallace “Mama..s Boys, Van Morrison and Therapy”, Wallace tried to produced the album to give the band that typical “Live” sensation, and in my opinion he succeeded!
The strength of the band lies with the fact that they are able to write songs that have a very high dose of Rock and Roll, are easy to listen to and most importantly have a kick ass mentality!
The songs are well written, and by utilizing the talent and experience of the band you can hear the passion and devotion of a Rock band that knows how to capture the listener and take them on a journey called Rock And Roll.
Some listening tips are : ..Spellbound.. ..Tuggin at my heartstrings.. ..Hold On To Her Love.. ..Sky High.. ..Beating Of A Heart.. ..Stranger Things Have Happened.. and closing the album ..Rock On Through The Night...
The other songs on the Caught In The Act album are well written, and above the status of a “Debut” album.
In closing I would like to add that with Caught In The Act, Stormzone delivered an album that puts Ireland back on the map, they send a clear message to other rock bands out there that Stormzone is here to stay and ready to Kick Ass!!
