CD review: Ten Man Push: Ten Man Push

Ten Man Push: Ten Man Push

"Great American Modern Rock" is a description that seems to embody the sound of TEN MAN PUSH. Guitar driven and Vocal oriented music are wrapped around a collection of great songs and stellar performances. Hailing from Central New York, this is a band you will hear more and more about.

This afternoon the brand new debut-album from American Rockers Ten Man Push arrived! I would not be me if I didn't opened the package right away. The cd cover and cd booklet are looking great. They are designed by: Eric Philippe. Eric Philippe designed also covers and logo's for: Mennen, Feinstein, Sonata Arctica and Artension

You can find 10 tracks on the album:

In the dirt - Park/West - 3.43
Idiot - Park - 3.18
Blue Roses - Park/West - 4.16
New York Night - Park - 4.05
Start Living - Park/West - 3.30
Miles Away - Park - 4.15
Kingdom of Fools - Park - 4.30
Where I Belong - Park/West 3.58
Hate Me - Park/West - 3.23
God is Blind - Park - 5.24

The first song In the Dirt is a great album opener, starting with heavy guitar riffs from John West! This song is written by Lonnie Park and John West. Lonnie’s voice is a bit raw, still aggressive, strong and powerfull. The 2nd song Idiot you can find also on TMP myspace page. This song is written by Lonnie Park. It’s one of my faves on the album!

This album is a variation of heavy rock songs and ballads like New York Night and Where I belong. Miles Away has a kind of blues sound in my eyes, especially in the middle of the song. Kingdom Of Fools opens with good drums. The video of this song you can also find on TMP myspace page.

My conclusion:
This is a great album with various songs on it and from the beginning till the end with a very catchy sound. Ten Man Push knows how to make a great album. Lonnie Park and John West are both great songwriters and producers! They are a good team and you can hear it on the cd. So, go out to the record store peoples and buy the cd!
