Concert Review Cornerstone

Cornerstone @ Plato Helmond, April 27th 2007

On this very hot friday about 200 devoted fans came to Plato-Helmond to see Cornerstone. They came from: Litouwen, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands. At 10pm sharp Allan, Kasper, Rune and Steen came on stage, and of course last but suddenly not least MISTER Doogie White. Why mister? What a great front man. From that moment the band started playing. Doogie caught the crowd completely under his attention. He performed with an dedication to music that I’ve hadn't seen in a long time at other gigs of other bands.

Doogie is singing with his heart, and believe in what he singing. His feelings, emotions are printed on his face. Every single detail of his body is involved with translating their music to the people and he do it very well. It is a pleasure to look at him! This band is what rock is ment to be: raw, meaning full, emotional and pleasure. And so real back to basic! No destracted, expensive show made by their record company, but 5 men who played with such a great pleasure and dedication and put their whole heart into the music that they composed and write by them selves! And that's what they show on stage. My fave song was Prey and Wounded Land!

Kasper and Steen are playing with an feeling that you feel it in your bones. Their whole expression (while they are playing)on their faces show such an love for music and performing that it is a joy to watch and hear them.

Rune looks like the un remarkably band member but believe me he is there! And of course the king of drums Allan. He sits behind his drums but he fits there like a lion king on his throne.

What a power and energy! This whole gig of Cornerstone was so much worth it. A FANTASTIC live show with a power and love that it makes you want more and you will be spoilt for life. After seeing this guys you will never take lesser quality at a gig.

After the gig the band aloud people to ask questions making photos and have a chat. Nothing was to much for them to gave their fans a good time.

This was and is a gig I won’t never forget!
