Concert Review Hinder

Hinder @ The Melkweg Amsterdam, March 30th 2007

21.00 PM time for Hinder! A five some band from Oklahoma (US) Hinder has a theme during the tour or show and it was sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll! So, all the microphones dressed with bra’s, and on stage I saw on every side of the stage two backgrounds with a woman in lingery!.

I’ve heard during the show a lot of ‘fuck you’ I haven’t count them :-) so many times.

The crowd singed along with the ballads like : ‘better then me’ , ‘lips of an angel’ and ‘say goodbye’.

Hinder frontman Austin Winkler was also very energetic and jumping around the stage. He has a good mood and created a very good atmosphere. One technical problem at Cody’s drums. (I think).

Cody Hanson (drums) picked up the guitar and played an acoustic song together with Austin. I don’t know which one.

The show was very good, the sound, the light and I was standing at the balcony and saw the whole stage from there. I had a good view. I liked the clothes they wear, t shirts and jeans, the jewelry and also the tattoos from the band members.

They played songs from the latest CD ‘Extreme Behaviour’.

Hinder played one hour and 15 minutes. Austin Winkler impressed me with his voice and his performance! If you like a good rock-show go to see Hinder because I’ve heard that they come back later this year to The Netherlands!
